This original WWII era air and naval survey map for the Hawaiian Islands by the United States Coast Guard was done on June of 1940. It not only shows naval guides around the island but also shows air navigation aids and navigational air path markers that are ‘noted to change without notice’. This map is of the entire survey region of Hawaii with the infamous naval port of Pearl Harbor one year before the Japanese attack on the naval shipyard. This restricted June 1940 map was used throughout the war as this one is dated March 15, 1943 by the Fleet Air Photographic Laboratory Utility Squadron One.
