WWII D-Day Airborne Paratrooper Sainte-Mère-Église Normandy Artifacts
This is your chance to own an incredible and very historic WWII D-Day artifact that was recovered at Sainte-Mère-Église, Normandy région, northwestern France. Sainte Mere Eglise was a strategic crossroads town situated along the N13, the road that led to Utah and Omaha beaches which if assaulted and captured from German troops would provide a vital exit road for the landing troops from Utah Beach. Each artifact comes with a hand-signed C.O.A. and serves as a solemn reminder of the men that sacrificed their lives so that soldiers landing on the beachhead only hours later would have less resistance and a clear path from the fortified German beaches.
A large portion of each sale from this collection is being donated to the non-profit Honor Flight Network. The mission of Honor Flight is to transport America’s veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
