This original WWII ‘RESTRICTED’ 1943 dated training booklet was given out pilots and crews operating aircraft at high altitudes during WWII. The pilots and crews being trained with book would have flown combat missions on some of the most famous aircraft of WWII such as the B-17, B-29, B-24, and B-25 just to name a few. This rare early war training manual was printed by the U.S. government printing office in 1942 and was used by all personal operating in both the Pacific Theater and European Theater. Created by the ‘Training Division’ a book like this would have been essential in the training of U.S. pilots and bomber crews the importance of oxygen when flying high altitude combat missions and dog fights.

This book is part of a collection of WWII training manuals and books given to WWII training servicemen before shipping off to the various theaters of operation. These books were intentionally designed with humorous hand drawings, simple to read diagrams, as well as easy reading passages so ALL servicemen regardless of their  educational background could understand and learn the material being presented to them.
