This original near mint condition 1944 U.S.M.C. Individual Battle Doctrine was a WWII booklet designed for the WWII U.S. Marine to read just prior to entering combat with the Japanese. The booklet was reproduced from a pamphlet prepared by Third Marine Division, Fleet Marine Force on 20 January, 1944. This excellent statement of individual combat principles proved successful against the Japanese in the Solomon Islands Area and was thus prepared by the Third Marine Division, Fleet Marine Force. It is worthy of careful study by every Marine. The booklet contains information on battle tactics used by the Japanese forces and information on Japanese weapons, tanks, and strategy when in battle on Pacific Islands. The WWII U.S.M.C. Battle Doctrine has a thin cardboard cover and is complete with all 8 pages.
