Dated November 3rd of 1918, this U.S. American Expeditionary Force letter is named to Forrest Bryant Goodrich. Goodrich severed during WWI in France with the 339th Field Artillery Regiment (88th Infantry Division) firing 155 mm artillery against the Germans. This Army censored letter is written to a Miss Zena Johnson of Missouri. The letter typed by Goodrich in France is complete with the original envelope it was addressed and sent in. This is a great personal addition to any WWI collection and shows the personal nature of soldier’s on the front line of France.
