This original WWII ‘RESTRICTED’ 1944 dated training booklet was given out pilots and crews operating WWII aircraft flown off U.S. aircraft carries, naval ports, and controlled airstrips during WWII. Part of the “NAVAER 00-80Q-21” and “OPNAV 33-NY-5” series, this booklet was given to a personal operating in the Pacific Theater and European Theater. Created by the ‘Aviation Training Division’ and ‘The Office of the Chief of Naval Operations’ this U.S. Navy book was issued June of 1944. The pilots and crews being trained with book would have flown combat missions on some of the most famous fighter planes and patrol aircraft of the war. A book like this would have been essential in the training of U.S. pilots and crews the importance quickly and correctly identifying the enemy first.
This book is part of a collection of WWII training manuals and books given to WWII training servicemen before shipping off to the various theaters of operation.
