This incredibly rare and very historic piece of WWII history is an original U.S. Army 104th Infantry Division uniform patch worn by a World War II U.S. Army soldier of the 104th Infantry Division.

The 104th Infantry Division, famously known as the "Timberwolf Division” was formed in 1942. This division was comprised primarily of soldiers from the Pacific Northwest of the United States, drawing its nickname from the region's vast forests and rugged terrain.

One of the pivotal operations in which the 104th Infantry Division played a crucial role was the Battle of the Bulge. The Timberwolves found themselves thrust into the heart of the Ardennes Forest. Despite facing harsh winter conditions and fierce resistance the division held its ground tenaciously, contributing significantly to halting the advance and ultimately turning the tide of the battle in favor of the Allied forces.

Their legacy continues to be honored by subsequent generations, serving as a testament to the enduring spirit of courage and determination that defined the Greatest Generation.

We authenticate our piece of history at the micro level! During the authentication process sometimes we use high-res microscopes. In the last image of the listing, I included a few high-res images of the 104th patch that was done during this authentication process!

This would make an amazing addition to any WWII, Army, or military enthusiast collection.
