This incredibly rare and very historic piece of WWII history is an original World War II Pacific Theater 48-star U.S. invasion flag fragment from LCI 615 (Landing Craft Infantry 615). During WWII LCI 615 flew this flag during her operation in the Pacific Theater. What makes this flag fragment and LCI 615 so incredible is that this flag flew on LCI 615 during Operation VICTOR V and General Douglas MacArthur's 1945 Operations of the Philippines. LCI 615 has a very important role in landing infantry and supplies during the 1945 D-Day Mindanao landings in the Philippines.

These WWII flags are extremely valuable and range anywhere from $75,000-$200,000+ depending on the ship or operation it flew during. Small sections of the flag fabric were removed to preserve its structural integrity which is why we are able to offer a very rare chance to own a small fragment piece of this very historical WWII flag.

The second to last photo will show you the full flag this displayed flag fragment is from. A photograph of the full flag will also be included for the buyer of this historical “Own a Piece of History” display.
