This incredibly rare and museum-grade World War I “SECRET & CONFIDENTIAL” marked intelligence report is titled “Notes of Recent Operations No. 3”. What makes this particular World War I confidential battle report so rare is that it is named to an A.E.F. soldier 2nd Lieutenant Willian L. Kaehni.
Dated 1917 this battle report contains unseen battle details and intelligence gathering that was meant to give insight to A.E.F. soldiers and officers on frontline operations and progress on the Western Front. It is even noted “NOT TO BE TAKEN INTO FRONT LINE TRENCHES”.
This battle report details, incredible battle summaries, and intelligence gathering from tanks on the front line battlefield, mine warfare, trench warfare, horse respirators for gas attacks, patrol and control of no man's land, artillery, airplanes, trench officers, communications during recent operations of the second army, use of smoke screens, demolition of hostile equipment, etc.
