This World War II artifact is one of the more personal items carried by a Japanese soldier. This pocket sized photograph of two young Japanese children was a bring back from a lot of photos taken by Cpl. Dwayne Osburn (39332052) who served with Battery 'B' of the 902nd Field Artillery Battalion. This collection of photographs was taken from the scrapbook of a KIA Japanese soldier. Many of the photographs that he sent back are stamped as CENSORED, however, not all of them are. This was most likely the soldier’s sons or close family members.
