This rare and “RESTRICTED” marked WWII ONI-220 Supplement Axis (Enemy) submarine identification poster is in incredible condition given its age. Marked restricted in combat areas, this low print count poster would have provided USN and other Allies in the area with identification silhouettes of Japanese, German, and Italian submarines in the combat area.
What makes this poster so unique are the detailed drawings and silhouettes of each submarine as it would crest above the water. It also features the rare Japanese midget submarine and the rare Italian Midgett submarine.
This would be an incredible World War II piece added to any collection and framed behind glass.
