This incredibly rare D-Day +1 invasion edition report is dated June 7th, 1944, and extensively details the Normandy beach landings airborne operations on Tuesday, 6 June 1944. Codenamed Operation Neptune and often referred to as D-Day, it was the largest seaborne invasion in history. The six-page report leads with combat and casualty details of the invasion as reported directly by the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force. The 0700 edition report gives incredibly detailed accounts of the beachhead and airborne landings. The report also details the false reports coming out of Germany regarding the weak assault and heavy losses on the Allied forces.

The D-Day +1 report, also gives details of president Roosevelt's comments regarding the invasion as well as extensive reports from Prime Minister Churchhill and King George VI.
