This incredible and original WWII report titled “Report To The Secretary of the United Staes Navy” extensively covers Allied combat operations up to March 1st, 1944 (3 months prior to the Normandy D-Day landings in June 1944). This original report was reprinted by “HIS MAJESTY’S STATIONARY OFFICE, LONDON 1944”. The inside of the report also contains a very interesting letter written by Admiral Ernest J. King (Admiral of the U.S. Navy) where he states, “I know of no reason why it should be made public”. This original report was shared information complied for the Allied forces and contains valuable intelligence and information regarding the war-time Navy fighting strength, as well as operational reports from combat in the Atlantic, Mediterranean Theater, and Pacific Theater. This report also contains many near mint condition plates, maps and charts that detailed ship information, theater maps, etc. This is an incredible WWII artifact and report with lots of unseen information.
